Verity McArthur
Licensed Professional Counselor (she/her/hers)
I believe in the power of the human spirit. Sometimes our purpose can feel lost. The journey of life is not easy, but when we are able to connect honestly to ourselves and others, we thrive. I believe that everyone has loved something, lost something, and feared something. My therapeutic approach is empathetically driven to provide you with a safe space to realize your full potential. My experience has allowed me to focus on the process of life and how our mind, body, and spirit are deeply connected. I will help you develop a strong, healthy sense of self by exploring your feelings and finding meaning within your life experience. Vulnerability is the pathway to strength.
I have extensive experience working with adolescents as a coach and school counselor as well as working with and supporting the aging population. I also utilize SFBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing in my therapeutic work. I lead from a strength-based perspective.
I know what it feels like to struggle with the major aspects of life; relationships, identity, work, and health. I would love the opportunity to work with you.
