Sonata Poon is a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Auburn University at Montgomery. Sonata received her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and holds an active membership with the American Nurses Association. Sonata is a Youth Fellow Alumni for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

Sonata works with patients across the lifespan. Sonata has a passion for mental health and believes total wellness starts with the mind. Sonata has experience that includes, but is not limited to: outpatient programs and assertive community treatment centers.
