I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Elmhurst University and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rush University. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a psychiatric registered nurse for seven years in various settings including: community behavioral health, inpatient psychiatry, residential treatment for substance abuse and obsessive compulsive disorders, and outpatient psychiatry. I have experience working with adults and adolescents, chemical dependency, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and OCD, ADHD, and psychotic disorders as well as severe mental illness.

Practice Philosophy: I want to help you reach your goals, whether it be to maintain good control of symptoms, achieve better control of symptoms and work towards mental health stability, work towards mental wellness and becoming the best version of yourself, or determine what your goals are - I will partner with you to figure out the best ways for you to reach your goals. I believe mental wellness requires a multifactorial approach and attention not only to medications, but to you as a whole person, including physical activity, sleep, nutrition, physical health, and social connectedness. Through individualized care I aim to empower my patients to optimize their mental wellness and overall quality of life.
