Jessica worked as a RN for 21 years prior to completing her Master of Science in Nursing program through the University of Colorado. As a RN, Jessica worked primarily in community health and psychiatric settings (both inpatient and outpatient), including employment at Children’s Hospital Colorado, Aurora Public Schools, and Aspen Pointe community mental health center in Colorado Springs. In 2006, Jessica obtained her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, which has added additional expertise to her work as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Jessica seeks to provide patient care that is warm, holistic, compassionate, and professional.
Jessica is passionate about social justice, issues of equity, and advocating for minority, underserved populations. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and pets and hosting people in her home.
