Audrey Strock, DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice), AGPCNP-BC, PMHNP-BC is the founder and CEO of Strock Medical Group Psychiatry & Wellness, a Colorado-based private practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, the highest clinical degree in nursing, from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and is dually board certified as both an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Audrey is also a social worker, bringing a unique multidisciplinary perspective to patient care.
A Denver native, Audrey has more than 20 years of nursing experience and over 15 years as a nurse practitioner. Before specializing in psychiatry, she built a strong clinical foundation in cardiology and critical care, experiences that shaped her holistic approach to treating both the physical and mental health of her patients.
Audrey founded Strock Medical Group Psychiatry & Wellness with a vision of providing personalized, relationship-centered care in an independent private practice setting. Over the past 13 years, she has grown the practice into one of Colorado's well-established outpatient psychiatric practices, serving well over 10,000 patients through a dedicated team of experienced mental health professionals. Today, the practice provides comprehensive psychiatric medication management and behavioral health services for both children and adult throughout Colorado.
Audrey has a passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. She enjoys working with nurse practitioner students and emerging clinicians, helping them develop strong clinical skills, confidence, and compassionate approaches to patient care. She is also a national speaker, educator, and mentor committed to advancing the nursing profession and improving access to high-quality mental health care.
Her particular clinical interests include the evaluation and treatment of ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and addiction medicine, where she combines evidence-based treatment with a compassionate, individualized approach to care. Audrey believes every patient deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with dignity and respect.
An alumna of the American Nurses Association and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services' Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Minority Fellowship Program, Audrey has also served in national leadership and mentorship roles. Her mission is to provide exceptional psychiatric care, reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, and inspire hope in every patient, family, student, and community she serves through the philosophy that has guided her practice since its founding: Treating Patients, Prescribing Hope.
